Thank you so much everyone. We ended up at Arnold Palmer today and they will do surgery either this week or next. They are trying to wait until he gets over his cold, but otherwise he is doing great. Our trip to the ER
I am so sorry for the delay in getting the weekly deals posted this weekend. We spent Saturday evening in the ER with our 2 year old. He decided a few coins he found looked yummy enough to eat and swallowed a quarter. After our ER doc consulted with a pediatric GI specialist, they decided, it might be possible to pass it, but it could get hung up in a few different places. So, we have to have x-rays each day to monitor the progress and if it doesn't move, then they will have to go in and remove it surgically.
He can't go to daycare or eat regular food until that happens. If you don't mind, would you add him to your prayer list? It could go either way. He is a belly sleeper and right now does not want to sleep on his belly because of the discomfort, so the only way he will sleep is on mommy in the recliner. So, I am a little behind this week. My apologies. I am working on them now for you :-)
