Devotion Friday

Read this devotion and then read the Update and laugh with me

Have you just ever had those months where you are screaming Why, I can't take anymore, Come on now? That is me this month. Just so you know you are not alone. I spent this morning being down in the dumps, but have since been reminded that you can only smile and laugh. My pastor said What is God trying to show you? I said I have no idea right now. He said: Tanya, It is his heart and he wants all of your Heart not just the part you want to give him.

You can't keep it all he says. You know as moms that is what we do, keep it all together or try too anyway and only let go of the things we need not what God wants us too. I think that is what he is trying to say this week. I may be wrong, but it will reveal itself. Until then all I can do is laugh and cry.

When you feel that God has given you more than you can handle remember he loves you and many times through adversity comes multitudes of blessings. He can also be preparing you for things to come that we can not comprehend. Revel in the adversity. Try to get thru the other side with out loosing your mind. LOL

I love you all, thanks for reading

Devotion Friday

Today is Devotion Friday, one of my favorite days of the week.

Many times the devotions are what is on my heart at the time. I love to share them with you.

I came across today's devotion from another FaceBooker (thank you Stephanie). As I was writing out what I wanted to say, I got side tracked (easy to do with me) and her post popped up. WOW such a God thing because someone had alreayd put into words what I was trying to say and so much more simpler. As I was reading it, it became so clear that we all do this time to time.

We get busy with our lives and I am the first to tell you that Busy is my middle name and you can tell in my life when I let my Faith become 2nd or 3rd in my day. My goal this week is to take even 10 min at some point of the day to meditate on Gods word. I may only get 5 min, but I have the desire to do so much more. At the end is my favorite song by Third Day as I am crying out to Jesus daily. Enjoy

Cannot Do This Alone

O God, early in the morning I cry to you.
Help me to pray
And to concentrate my thoughts on you:
I cannot do this alone.

In me there is darkness,
But with you there is light;
I am lonely, but you do not leave me;
I am feeble in heart, but with you there is help;
I am restless, but with you there is peace.
In me there is bitterness, but with you there is patience;
I do not understand your ways,
But you know the way for me…

Restore me to liberty,
And enable me to live now
That I may answer before you and before me.
Lord, whatever this day may bring,
Your name be praised.

Devotion Friday

I wanted to share with you just a simple verse today.There is so much I want to say, but I need to get back to the hospital so I will turn it over to Carl Summerall today.  My BFFs dad has a daily devotion on FB and wanted to share today's with you:

Carl's Daily Bread :"But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:19 KJV It is vital that we seek the Lord through prayer and that we ask for His help. We must remind ourselves that our loving heavenly Father will never fail His own. He always has the right answer to every problem. He always is able to abundantly supply all our needs.

You can become a fan of his daily scripture by clicking HERE

My friend Debra and I have been friends since 2nd grade, can u believe that. Good friends are a treasure. Something to work at and keep close to your heart forever.

Devotion Friday!!!

I don't know what you think about this, so let me know. I don't know about you, but I am a very busy mom and couponqueen. Many times I do not have a chance to read my bible (let alone shower) or my devotional book. This year I decided to get a few Beth Moore studies on CD so I could listen to them while driving to work or to shows.

This morning I cam across a Beth Moore box of verses that my dear friend Beth gave me a few years ago. I decided to put to memory a verse a week.

This weeks verse and song are exactly what God wanted me to hear.

Psalm 33:20-21
I wait in hope for you Lord,
You are my help and my shield.
In you my heart rejoices, for I trust in Your
holy name.

The song I woke up singing in my head is:
You Never Let Go by Matt Redman

Oh Lord you never let go of me Thru the calm and Thru the storm
Oh Lord you never let go of me thru every high and every low.
Oh Lord you never let go, Lord you never let go of me
Lord,you keep loving me

I can see a light...there will be an end to these stugggles and until that day comes I will still priase you, still I will priase you.

Turn off my blog music to hear it.
Here is the video/song..Enjoy and have a wonderfuly blessed weekend
