CouponClass 101
I had my 2nd Coupon 101 class Sunday. It was so great to meet everyone. The class went better than expected and it was my biggest class yet. Stay tuned because Coupon 102 is coming up soon!
I am the first to defend a coupon at check out if it doesn't go thru or the cashier isn't coupon friendly. I then just chat and try and strike up conversation to put them at ease. I do realize it is time consuming for the cashier, but even more so for me. It takes hours to cut, organize, file and match up sale ads to get the most savings I can. It is our money and there are many, many other things we can be spending it on!
I am so excited to share about Coupons that I want to shout it from the Mountain tops.
Lately I find myself chatting with anyone and everyone in the store. This has never been a real strong suit of mine. I am typically a shy person, except when it comes to coupons.
If you are in the store and spot a lady with a huge pink binder full of coupons...That is me!

Mom and Couponing
Picture this:
I'm at Publix with my 3 angles and my 20 mo old decides in the check-out line to start screaming, because he sees my cell phone and/or keys and wants them. By now he is screaming very, very loud. I am trying to watch the coupons and get my 2 older kids to help out, but the way everyone was staring at me, you would think I had 3 eyes and green hair or something. This has become a way of life for us since our 1 year old has decided to gracefully enter the Terrible 2's 4 months early.
So if you hear a screaming baby and you see my other 2 nearby, you can bet that we are gracefully ducking out the door..Tail wagging.
Couponing is a way of life for us. The kids love to go on a Blinkie Scavenger Hunt when we are in the store. Going down each aisle, grabbing the coupons from the dispensers and then waiting patiently for more to pop out. They can't wait to get to it. If you see 2 kids running for the coupons...they are mine and I will claim them. :)
Wesley is baby #3 and mostly I can tune out the temper tantrums, but in the store it just seems so LOUD.
Have you experienced this before.
