UPDATE: Did you buy lots of gift certificates in August and aren’t sure you want all the same restaurants again? Did you know you can buy generic Restaurant.com gift certificates? Then later in the year you can redeem them for your favorite restaurants when Restaurant.com isn’t on sale or when a new restaurant is added. You have one year to redeem these certificates for restaurant-specific ones. Then the new restaurant-specific certificate is valid for one-year.
