After a long night and waking up with what felt like baseballs in my throat with no voice.
I went to the CVS minute clinic. If you have not visited one, I highly suggest you do before going to the ER or another Urgent Care.
We were in and out in 30 min. She was a nurse practioner and fixed me up with a Zpack. Evidently I now have an ear infection, bronchitis and laryingitis. Ha, I just have to laugh. Guess what she told me to do? Rest my voice by NO TALKING FOR 2 DAYS. I laughed and said ummm I have to speak 2 times today and on Sunday at the international women's show. She kindly said no way your voice is to far gone and I will write you a note.
I told my daughter that today and she said Mommy are you coming home since you can't work. LOL I said no honey Adults don't get to do that.
I felt so sorry for everyone who came to listen to me today. It was a struggle, but with the Microphone you could hear my squeek. By the 2nd talk the voice was totally gone. So I am not speaking at all until 12:00 pm Sunday! I had more of a voice this am when I did the radio interview, so hoping that tomorrow will be better
