You can also view all the groceries that the Chick-fil-a Cow, Stephen May (CFA Franchise Owner) and myself will be getting for almost FREE at Publix this week. All the groceries will be donated to help kick off the food drive.

Also, you can sign up early for a series of workshop we will be holding at Chick-fil-A starting in November.

Saturday 11/13 you will find me in The Villages partnering with Lori Esarey, ARNP and speaking on Eating Healthy on a Shoestring Budget. It may seem hard to find deals on meats, produce and veggies, but it can be done. Lori and I will show you how to Meal plan, eat and buy healthier food choices and more.

What is Operation Uplift:
– As food pantries are being depleted and the number of those in need grows, the family at Chick-fil-A of The Villages, located at 730 US Highway 441 North, hopes to inspire generosity in the community with Operation Uplift. This food drive campaign will challenge local individuals, businesses and schools to donate non-perishable food items to be distributed to local food pantries. The drive will “kick off” with a Pep Rally in the parking lot of Chick-fil-A® of The Villages on Friday, November 12th at 5PM

“The holiday season is truly a time to be thankful for what we have and to give back to those who are less fortunate,” said Stephen May, franchise Operator of the restaurant. “In 2008 we collected 55k pounds of food, 2009 it was 65k pounds and our goal for 2010 is 75k pounds,” shared Karen Mercer, Marketing Director. “Our Chick-fil-A® family and Coupon Queeny, Inc. hopes that our community will join us in Operation Uplift to help provide hope, cheer and nourishing meals to our neighbors in need.”
