Calling all Couponers!!

As many of you know aside from CouponQueeny, I have a network of "Helping Hands". Its purpose is to help those in need. "Filling up our shelters; One coupon at a time". God has given us this amazing gift to get food and goods for FREE or almost FREE. All it takes is a few more minutes of your day (I know it is hard to find). You have to go to the store anyway...so pick up an item or two for a needy family. Many of us can not afford to purchase extras right now and thru couponing we are able to get many, many, many items for FREE even items we do not need, but someone needs them.

This year we have 2 projects going:

1. A new mom ministry:

The goal is fill up a room, rooms or building with everything a new mom and baby would need.

Do you remember what it is like when a little angel arrives? A tiredness (and joy) you never knew before and yet, you still have a family to take care of and the show must go on.

Well this place will be similar to a welcome wagon, but for new moms. It will be based at Heritage Community and my home, but open to anyone in need.

If you know someone, pass the name along. We have contacts for clothing currently (through another ministry) and would like to have on hand diapers, wipes, baby items, new mommy items etc..

2. To be able to Bless a few families this year with Christmas presents, groceries and a daycare balance paid off. We are collecting Food, New toys, gift cards etc. and you can use pay pal. You will receive a card with the information on that family also.

The reason behind this is about 3 years ago we were behind in everything including daycare, but they worked with us, and yet the monthly daycare just kept growing larger every month. This was when our daughter Maribelle was diagnosed with her Immune Disease and we were driving 2 hours a way to the children's hospital for IV therapy regularly. Anyway, a long story short....A family paid our balance off at Christmas and provided us presents and groceries. They involved their family and children to help with this. To this day I do not know who this angel is, but God sent them at the perfect time.
