Everything you ever wanted to know about E-Coupons

Everything you ever wanted to know about E-Coupons

There are so many questions about E-Coupons, Cell Fire and just online coupons in general, that I thought I would try and give you the 101 on the subject.

1. E-coupons can only be used at Kroger (or Kroger affiliate stores) for now. Other stores will be on board soon and with the times. If you know of a store that uses them, please let me know.
2. 1/1/10-as of the new year, the following is a list of participating stores
Safeway, Carrs, Dominicks, Genuardis, Pavilions, Randalls, Tom Thumb and Vons.
3. When the others stores do finally get up to date with technology, then you will be ready to go. Here are the 4 companies that I know of offering E-Coupons that you can load directly to your Customer Card and/or Cell Phone.
Procter and Gamble (PGEsaver)
Shortcuts
Cellfire
U-Promise

PG E-Saver
1. All of the coupons work the same way. You go onto the individual sites and select which coupons you want and save them to your Shopper Card.
2. You are only able to load 1 of each coupon onto your card, BUT you can also use a paper coupon (Manufacturer/Store coupon) in combination with your E coupon.
3. The E-Coupon does not come off until after the cashier (or you) have pressed the total button and is done scanning.
4. The Limit is 50 coupons at a time on your card between Procter & Gamble and Shortcuts.
5. As soon as you are done shopping you can load more coupons.
Shortcuts
1. Shortcuts puts up new coupons at random. With any E-Coupon, check before you shop. You never know what surprise you will find! Coupons are good for 2 months from when Shortcuts puts them up.
2. Like with PG E-Saver, Shortcuts has a help section if you have problems redeeming the coupons.
3. They work the same way at PG E-Saver and they even put up store coupons also.
4. The 50 coupon limit is included with PG E-Saver. If you load 20 from PG then you can only load 30 from Shortcuts.

Cell Fire
1. Tuesday is the day Cell Fire loads new coupons to the site. Unlike Shortcuts and PG E-Saver, Cell Fire coupons expire usually in 2 weeks from the day you load the coupons.
2. Good news on the limit! You can load 50 coupons from Cell Fire and use them in combination with your others.
3. The Help center works the same way as PG and Shortcuts.

UPromise
1. U Promise is a way to save for college for any member of your family. Many stores participate in U promise all the way from Grocery stores, car rental, travel and more.
The money you get comes from our partners, including:
§ 600+ online stores (such as BestBuy.com, eBay.com, Expedia.com, Apple Store)
§ Nearly 9,000 restaurants
§ 22,000+ grocery and drug stores
§ Other companies (like Avis, Century 21®, ExxonMobil)

Here's How it Works
2. They also offer coupon to earn for education also.
3. Instead of the coupon being $1.00 off Delmonte, it is $1.00 into your College account.
4. You are buying the product anyway, go ahead and have it put into a fund for college also.
5. There is not a limit of coupons they. You can load as many coupons as you like and it does not affect your limits of other e coupons.
6. You can also still use paper coupons with these coupons.
7. You will still get the regular percentage back into your U Promise account too, so this is a way to double dip on savings and save more!
Sign up here if you don’t have U Promise yet.
