Frugal Tips

I was reading a friends post about her lids taking over her kitchen and thought I would share what she does for her Lids and hand soap.

Are plastic lids taking over your kitchen?

If so, I feel your pain!! "smile" Today, I would like to share with you a quick solution!
Store a dish drainer in your cabinet, or any other large square container with depth to it, and you can file the lids on their sides, in size order. It's really easy to pick the right lid this way!!
**This saves money and time, since you not searching for the correct cover for ten minutes, just to have to resort to using plastic wrap!!
HAND SOAPThe next time you buy foam hand soap, or should I say the next time you get foam hand soap for a quarter, "smile", save the bottle!! There are a few ways that you can make your dollars stretch with these little foam bottles!!
Thanks Frugal Living and Having fun for the great tips

The fist thing I like to do, which is something I just started to do, is save all your small pieces of soap from the shower. These small pieces of soap are really too small to use in the shower, and seem to be in the way more than any thing else. Take the small pieces of soap, put them in the foam soap bottles, add hot water shake, and the small soaps will slowly dissolve ~ making some great hand soap for the kids to wash their hands with!!
The other thing you can do, which is something I have been doing for awhile now, is take 2 tbsp of Dish Soap add hot water shake, and have a bottle of dish foam soap to help you pre-rinse your dishes before putting them into the dishwasher. It also works great on dishes that do not need a lot of soap and just needs a quick washing! When I just wash a quick plate, this foam dish soap is perfect for that!!
