Shands update

What a long day...From now on I am requiring hubby to go with me when Doc has to see both kids. LOL I don't drink or take valium but today felt like there wasn't enough in the world of either to help me.

Wes hopefully will be on the mend soon. They gave us different antibiotics today (after I got 4 meds filled last night for him) They decided to go ahead and do his antibody testing today even though he was sick. We will wait about 2 weeks and know if he has the same disease or not.
If so depending on what the levels are they will begin a 1 year treatment of IVIG.
Breaks my heart, that is what we had to do with Belle when she was 4 and she would be so sick for a few days after treatment. But the blessing is he wouldn't be so sick anymore. Just the 1-3 days from the side effects. He isnt old enough to do the one we do now weekly for Belle.


Belle is doing okay. She wants to do sports but gets so tired (and gets more breakthru infections from being tired) because we do Infussions on Friday nights so she doesn't have to miss school anymore. They are going to adjust her ml's and hopefully she will be on the mend. She is having too many breakthru infections in between so another reason to adjust it.

I guess we are at a wait and see now for WEsley and a doing good for Belle.
Praise God for my angels. I love them all so.
